Terms of Service

Effective date: July 5, 2026

By downloading or using Mr. Driver's Ed (the "App"), you agree to these terms.

1. What Mr. Driver's Ed is (and is not)

Mr. Driver's Ed is an independent study tool for practicing written driver-permit exam material. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Public Safety, Department of Finance and Administration, or any government agency. Practice questions cite pages of official state driver handbooks for study reference; the handbooks themselves are published by their respective states.

Practice results do not guarantee any outcome on an official examination. Official tests differ by state in format, question count, and passing rules, and handbook content changes over time. Always rely on your state's current official materials and requirements.

2. Accounts

You can use the App fully without an account. Creating a guardian account requires that you are at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Guardian features (sync, dashboards, inviting a co-guardian, pairing a learner's device) are for overseeing learners in your care; by enabling sync for a learner you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian, or have that person's permission.

3. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the App: no attempting to break, overload, or probe our services; no scraping or bulk-extracting question content; no reverse-engineering except where the law permits it despite this term; no using the App to violate any law.

4. Content and intellectual property

The App's software, question text, explanations, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial study use. State driver handbooks are publications of their respective states; citations identify them as sources. You keep ownership of your own data (your study progress); you can export or delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what little data the App handles and the controls you have. It is part of these terms.

6. Termination

You can stop using the App and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. Sections 4, 7, and 8 survive termination.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App; our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $10 or the amount you paid us for the App in the past 12 months (currently $0 — the App is free). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this URL with its effective date. A material change will be called out in the App's release notes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
